Longer life PAC Die Springs or High Force Compression Springs are made of pre-tempered, rectangular shaped chrome silicon wire. The springs are designed for use where high loads are required and in applications where ambient temperatures reach 475 degrees F. The springs are stress relieved after coiling, preset and shot peened to provide maximum fatigue life. Both ends are precision ground and then powder coated white with a colored stripe to identify duty range.

There are 380 standard sized PAC Die Springs or High Force Compression Springs listed in the on line catalog. There are four duty ranges with sizes ranging from 3/8” OD to 2” OD and lengths from one inch to 12 inches. The on line catalog details the efficient operating range as a percentage of free length and recommends maximum travel.

All springs are available for immediate delivery from our manufacturing facility in Three Rivers, Michigan. Custom designed Die Springs or High Force Compression Springs are also available on request.
